What is your therapy approach?
I am a cognitive-behavioural therapist (CBT), which means that I am focused on uncovering the negative or unhealthy ways people think and I help them to change these patterns. In addition to CBT, I also use dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) for my clients who experience intense emotions.
I have had a lot of experience and success treating a wide-range of psychological problems, including addictions, anxiety, borderline personality, depression, binge eating, trauma and issues with self-esteem.
Do you offer video sessions?
Yes. I offer secure video sessions, along with phone and face-to-face sessions.
What if I feel embarrassed about my problem?
I have worked with clients who suffer from a variety of issues, including problems with self-harm, addictions, self-esteem, suicidal thoughts, binge eating, sexual performance, and gender identity confusion. I am non-judgmental and compassionate and I will strive to make you feel comfortable no matter what the topic.
What are the payment options?
I accept cash, cheque, interac e-transfer, paypal and credit card. Receipts are provided. Psychological services offered by a registered psychologist are generally covered by most insurance companies. There is a small service charge if you use credit card or paypal.
What are your qualifications?
I completed my M.A. and Ph.D. in Counselling Psychology from McGill University. I am also a registered psychologist with the Order of Psychologists of Quebec (OPQ).
Do you have experience with diverse clients?
I work with all types of people, irrespective of their gender, sexual, religious or cultural identity. I have treated clients from many different types of backgrounds and life experiences.
How frequent are sessions?
That depends on the severity of the problem and your level of motivation. In general, I initially meet with clients once a week but as the symptoms diminish, we typically meet less frequently.
What if I have to cancel my session?
Please contact me at least 24h in advance to change or cancel a session to avoid paying for the missed session.
Are the sessions in French or English?
I am an Anglophone psychologist who speaks and understands French. I have Francophone clients but our sessions are in English.

The fee per session is $300.
If you are seeking more affordable therapy, I recommend Connecte Psychology.
How long are sessions?
